The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I encountered behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The State of the Venue : Filthy and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and neglected washrooms polluted the entire establishment . Reeking of a mixture of urine , decay and illness . For a business that offers beverages , these issues are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the sanitation of anything they serve .
